New bag for my Birminghamtrip

My blog have been on a long summer holiday:-)
During the summer I have done a lot of longarm quilting, but less og other sewing...
This weekend I have made a new bag, purse and a cell phone case. On Thursday I'm going to Birmingham to the Festival of Quilts. I'm really looking forward to that...

Open House by Claudia

Monday evening we left Norway for classes in Germany. Thirsday morning we went to Quilt und Co and met Claudia and her staff. Its always nice to come over there, they are so forthcoming.

The theme for our first class was feathers in borders and blocks. We met many from the last time in January and it was really nice to meet them again.

The theme for wednesday was "advanced feathers class". Its was really fun, and these is my results from the day:

After the classes on wednesday we went to a small town called Linn and to the Textil museum there, where it was a Amish Quilt exhibition. Sorry we was not allowed to take pictures there, sow many beautiful quilts with great handquilting (I realice that longarm quilting its more for me..). Afterwards we went to this beatiful castle:

And went to a restaurant nearby and had a wonderful meal (tooo much food...)

On thursday the theme was playing with rulers and stencils, and we had a new wonderful day with lots of fun. These is my results:

After classes we went to a chineese restaurant and had a great time:

And finally at Friday the theme was Threadpainting, I'm not finsihed with these projects so the results will come later...

We just have so great time so I definitely will come back next time in January!!!

More quilting

Babyblocks

Some more cubes have beeb added here, and the quilt is slowly growing. Maybe the quilt will be a little smaller than I thought when I started...

I bought a fabric kit for this quilt, but I need to add some more batic, I miss some colors...

Long time go, I really dont know where in earth the April month has gone.

My cubequilt is growing, but do day I need to try some new pattern. Really I have 3 new pattern I want to try. I have started with one new block, I'm going to use scraps in this quilt.

Cell Phone cases

My husband always complain that I never answer my phone (and I always have to look for it) so today I have just made my self a cell phone case, everything made in the embroidery hoop, design is from ATTS. I just need to add a button and I also want some swarovski crystal on.

A new quilting projects

Today I have started on a new big projects (why is it some much more fun to start on new projects than the UFO's?) I have some sewing time today while all mye boys watching football and eat cake, a recipe from Anita. I already know how to quilt this, so I just have to finished it.

I dag har jeg startet på et nytt prosjekt igjen, skjønner ikke hvorfor det er så mye mer artig enn alle UFOene. Kjøpte masse batikker da jeg var i Tyskland i januar og de passer utmerket her. Jeg har allerede bestemt meg for hvordan jeg skal quilte teppet så jeg må bare se å bli ferdig med det.
